Incredibly annoying album covers...

So, there's this musician Laura Viers who I've never heard, but I've seen some good reviews in all the right magazines. And she sings a sweet duet on the most recent Decemberists album. But, for some reason, her press pictures and album cover bug the fuck out of me. I don't know what it is - the poker-faced, slightly froggish, anti-photo look or just the fact that I keep seeing it over and over again. It's been everywhere, this damn picture. I don't care if this is the best album since London Calling, I really don't want to hear it.

I haven't felt this strongly about hating someone's music for no good reason since the heady days of Andrew WK. I hated that cover so much, I would immediately turn the page or close the web browser whenever I saw it. And I still have never heard him.
