Uhhh, I think you kinda blew that joke...
An internet prank or joke. Rick Roll, Rick Roll'd or Rick Rolling is an internet spam trick in which people post a link to a Rick Astley video on Youtube, but say the viewers of the video are being led to another video, usually proof of unconfirmed gaming news or trailers.
Saying "Watch this video now" is not really a prank. It's just asking people to look at a Rick Astley video. The idea would be to say "Check out this new leaked Simpsons Movie preview" and then Rick Roll them.
But, in any case, it's a funny concept and I'm very glad that I never tucked my denim shirt into my pleated denim pants.
Yeah, I did blow it. That's what I get for blogging while working. Looked good in my head.
